Audiotec Fischer was founded in 1990 by Mr Heinz Fischer as a single proprietorship. Since then the company has developed from a niche supplier to one of the world market leaders in high-end car hifi systems. Basic criteria such as 'hand-made' and 'Made in Germany' are still predominant values at Audiotec Fischer.

The company's headquarters are still located in Schmallenberg, a small town in the midst of the beautiful, idyllic Hochsauerland region in Nordrhein-Westfalen. Here, the focus is on developing new products, producing the newest product series - and on quality assurance, which itself is of unparalleled quality, laying the foundation of the company's success and mirroring the company's philosophy better than anything else. For example, no single amplifier is shipped before it is thoroughly (means manually) inspected and put to the acid test by the company's technical experts.
