Lightweight cars aren't just good for better gas mileage: they're also faster. Audi's race technology has been well-known to flow toward its production cars, but the level of devotion to lightweight construction shown with the latest R18 e-tron quattro Le Mans racer isn't likely to make the crossover any time soon.

Audi is working on a brand new S3 and we’ve got a spy shot of a prototype for the upcoming hot hatch, taken while it was running some test miles around Germany’s Nürburgring race track.

Audi is putting the finishing touches to the most revolutionary edition of its R8 sports car ever, the pure electric e-Tron. From what we hear, the production R8 e-Tron will make its first public outing at the Paris Motor Show this September.

It will interesting to see what Audi's designers have in store for us with the upcoming, third generation TT sports car series, and with that we mean if they're going to reheat the same old styling dish or if we should expect something radically new.
